There is a lot of new exciting developments at Sterling Motor Technology. We are in the process of relocating to our new facility. We have found a facility that will suit our needs as well as our customers. We are in the process of renovating the building to better serve our customers. We hope to have the building fully operational by December 1, 2008.
Servo motors are complex devices by design and as such require specialized testing and repair procedures. Sterling Motor Technology has a dedicated servo testing and repair department. Before the servo is dismantled for repair, our technicians evaluate the servo using our dynamic diagnostic station. The servo is mounted onto our dynamic diagnostic station and run through a gamut of tests to determine the condition of the magnets, rotor, windings, brake and the feedback device. Once the testing procedure has been completed, the servo is dismantled for repair. All components are checked and compared to manufacturer's specifications. Components not meeting OEM standards are replaced. When the servo has been repaired it is mounted onto our dynamic diagnostic station and retested. The servo is load tested according to the nameplate data. When the final testing is complete, you can be guaranteed a troublefree servo in OEM condition.
